3. Personal Data We Collect and Collection Methods

We adhere to the principles of "legality, propriety and necessity", and only collect personal data necessary for realizing the core functions of the App. We do not collect redundant data irrelevant to the functions, and strictly comply with Google Play permission usage specifications. The details are as follows:

3.1 Data Related to Core Functions

3.1.1 Video Chat Function

To realize one-on-one video interaction, we will, after your authorization, collect image data corresponding to your camera permission (only used for real-time video transmission, no original images are stored) and audio data corresponding to your microphone permission (only used for real-time voice transmission, no original recordings are stored). Such data is only temporarily cached during your use of the video chat function and is automatically cleared after the chat ends, without long-term storage.

3.1.2 Real-Time Chat Function

To realize text communication, we will collect the text content you input (only used for real-time transmission between chat parties, stored for the duration of your use of this function; after you delete the chat records, the relevant data will be immediately cleared).

3.1.3 Intelligent Matching Function

To realize matching between users from different cultural backgrounds, we will collect your device language settings, network IP address (used to determine the approximate region, not precise positioning), and usage habit data (such as chat preferences, matching filter conditions) to optimize the matching algorithm and improve matching accuracy.

3.2 Permission-Related Data

After your authorization, we will obtain the following device permissions and corresponding data. All permissions are optional, and you can turn off the permissions in the device settings at any time. Turning off the permissions will prevent you from using the corresponding functions, but will not affect the normal use of other functions:

3.2.1 Camera Permission

Only used for video chat and taking photos/videos for chat sharing. We do not actively collect or store the contents of your camera album, comply with Google Play's photo and video access permission policies, do not scan the album in the background, and do not cache unnecessary image data.

3.2.2 Album Permission

Only used when you actively select photos/videos from the album to share. You can independently select specific files. We do not obtain full access to the album and do not read the album content in the background.

3.2.3 Microphone Permission

Used for video chat and voice message recording (if you choose to send voice). Recording is only started when you use the relevant functions, and the recording data is only used for real-time transmission or temporary storage (voice messages are stored for 7 days and automatically deleted after the expiration date).

3.2.4 Advertising ID

Used to display personalized advertisements. You can reset or turn off the Advertising ID in the device settings. After turning it off, non-personalized advertisements will be displayed, which will not affect the use of the core functions of the App and comply with Google's advertising policies.

3.2.5 External Storage Permission

Only used for temporarily storing photos, videos and voice messages you send/receive (the storage period is consistent with the corresponding content; after you delete the content, the stored files will be deleted synchronously). We do not read or modify other stored content in your device.

3.2.6 App Information Reading Permission

Only used to read basic information of installed apps in your device (excluding in-app data) to determine app compatibility and optimize app operation stability. We do not collect sensitive information such as app usage records.

3.3 In-App Purchase Related Data

If you use the in-app purchase function of the App (such as purchasing virtual gifts, unlocking premium functions, etc.), we will collect your in-app purchase order information (including order number, purchase amount, purchase time, product name) to complete transactions, process refunds and verify orders. We do not collect sensitive payment data such as your payment account and bank card information (the payment process is completed by the Google Payment system, and the payment data is protected by Google).

3.4 Device and Log Data

To ensure the normal operation of the App, troubleshoot faults and improve service quality, we will automatically collect your basic device information (such as device model, operating system version, device ID, network type) and app usage logs (such as function usage time, operation records, error logs). Such data is anonymized, not associated with your personal identity information, and cannot be used to identify your personal identity.

3.5 Collection Methods

3.5.1 Active Provision by You

Including but not limited to the text content you input, photos/videos you actively upload, device permissions you actively authorize, in-app purchase operations you actively complete, etc.

3.5.2 Automatic Collection

Automatically collect your device information, usage logs, in-app purchase order information, etc. through the app background, device sensors, Google Payment interface, etc. Such collection complies with relevant laws, regulations and Google's policies and does not exceed the necessary scope.

3.5.3 Provision by Third Parties

Only with your authorization, we obtain necessary data from third parties such as Google Payment and advertising service providers (such as in-app purchase order confirmation information, Advertising ID). The data provided by third parties must comply with their own privacy policies and relevant laws and regulations.

4. Purposes of Personal Data Processing

The personal data we collect is only used for the following legitimate purposes, not for any purposes irrelevant to the functions of the App, and strictly adheres to the principle of "data minimization":
